Ex Terra Lucem
The motto of the home town of Transbless Translations, St. Helens, Merseyside, Great Britain, is "Ex Terra Lucem". It is written in Latin and it means 'From the Ground Comes Light'. It is associated with the coal mining industry which was the main source of income for residents of St. Helens before the industrial revolution. Miners worked under the ground extracting coal. The coal was then brought up to the surface to bring light to the town of St. Helens and many other parts of the country.
